Support for Educational Organizations
Narges Izadi has partnered with districts all across the Bay Area to conduct legally defensible and comprehensive assessments. With a thorough grasp of special education law and best practices, Narges has served as an expert in assessments for students with emotional disabilities, learning differences, health impairments, and autism through numerous legal proceedings. She regularly conducts evaluations to assess for all categories of disability in accordance with the Educational Code. Further, Narges specializes in the assessment of students unilaterally placed in out-of-state RTC programs and English Language Learners. She has successfully assessed over 45 students actively placed in out-of-state RTC programs, and has assisted in their step-down transition planning and the district's legal proceedings. All evaluations utilize a variety of evidence-based, standardized and up-to-date tools and approaches (including observations, thorough records review and clinical interviews with all parties involved) to ensure an ecological understanding of each and every student assessed.
Narges works collaboratively and cross functionally with school teams to guide the assessment process from Assessment Plan development through to the IEP meeting and follow-up consultation. She works diligently to develop feasible and actionable recommendations tailored to the assessment findings and each student's particular environment.
